My Honest Experience as a Beginner in Trading With Ashley

Trading With Ashley Alumni Perspective:  Adapted from real student feedback.

I work in healthcare, not finance. I’m good with people, but numbers? Charts? Options? That all sounded way out of my league. When a coworker mentioned Trading With Ashley, I laughed it off at first. I couldn’t picture myself “trading stocks.”

But curiosity got me. I signed up, thinking I’d probably quit after a week. Instead, it felt like I’d finally found a place that spoke my language. The lessons weren’t overwhelming. Ashley explained things like she was talking to a friend, and the coaches were patient with every question. Even when I asked something basic, they treated it seriously.

I’ll never forget placing my first covered call. It wasn’t about the money, it was about confidence. I actually understood what I was doing for once. That was a big deal for me.

The best part, though, wasn’t the trade itself. It was the support. I didn’t feel alone anymore. Other students were going through the same things, and the coaches were always there to explain what I didn’t get. I realized I’d been avoiding trading not because I couldn’t learn, but because I didn’t have anyone to help me when I got stuck.

Now, months later, I can say I’m comfortable placing trades on my own. I still make mistakes, but I learn from them instead of beating myself up. The three biggest things I learned were:

  1. Start small. You don’t have to go all in.
  2. Ask questions. Even the silly ones.
  3. Stick to the plan. It matters more than you think.

If you’re brand new like I was, this program shows you it’s possible. You just need someone to guide you.
