Learning Patience in Trading: My Journey With Trading With Ashley

Trading With Ashley Alumni Perspective:  Adapted from real student feedback.

I didn’t join this program because I wanted to be a professional trader. I joined because I was tired of feeling like I didn’t understand what I was doing with my own money. Every time I tried on my own, I rushed trades and hoped for the best. Most of the time it didn’t end well.

The first thing Ashley taught me was patience. I know that sounds simple, but it was the hardest lesson. I thought if I wasn’t constantly in a trade, I was missing opportunities. But over and over I learned the same thing: rushing cost me money, waiting made me better.

It took time to accept that. I had to start writing trades in a notebook, and the pattern became obvious. I wasn’t losing because the market was against me, I was losing because I wasn’t following rules. Once I slowed down, everything started to feel calmer.

Now I’m not perfect, but I’m consistent. I size trades correctly, I wait for my setups, and I don’t panic the way I used to. For me, that’s a win. If you’re thinking about this program, don’t expect overnight success. Expect to learn patience. It changes everything.
